Robert E. ?Bob? Dahlstrom
Funeral services for Robert E. ?Bob? Dahlstrom, 83, of Longview, will be held at 10 AM Friday, January 2, 2004, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Gloria Jennings and Reverend Ted White officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the VFW Jefferson, Texas Post 10373.
Mr. Dahlstrom was born on October 15, 1920 in Ganado, Texas to Herman and Ermine Dahlstrom. He passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 in a Longview hospital.
He served his country during World War II with the United States Navy, was an accountant for Marathon LeTourneau before retiring in 1982, and was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church.
Mr. Dahlstrom was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, H.J. Dahlstrom, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Dru Dahlstrom of Longview; one nephew, Joe Dahlstrom of Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
