Robert Dwayne Mann's Obituary
Robert Bobby Dwayne Mann, age 76, died on August 1, 2011 at Henderson Memorial Hospital in Henderson, Texas. He had been a resident of Dallas, Texas for the past 22 years.
Bobby Dwayne Mann was born in McKinney, Texas on July 20, 1935. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas and from North Texas University in Denton, Texas. Bob resided in Lafayette, Louisiana for several years where he taught English at Lafayette High School. He moved back to Dallas and was employed in various sales positions during the remainder of his life. Bob was an avid reader and enjoyed Dallas Cowboy football and horse racing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Mann and Polly Joplin Mann.
He is survived by five daughters, Cynthia Mann Nicol and her husband, Graham Nicol of Perth, Australia; Rebecca Mann Cravey and her husband Daryl Cravey of Henderson, Texas; Patricia Mann LeMaire and her husband, Woodie LeMaire of New Iberia, Louisiana; Elizabeth Mann Warren and her husband Jeff Warren of Prairieville, Louisiana; and Jessica Mann Boyt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson, Texas.
