Robert Don McGilvray's Obituary
Funeral services for Robert Don McGilvray, 60, of Longview, will be 10 AM Saturday, May 12, in the Rosewood Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Reverend Dale Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview. The family will receive friends at the funeral Friday, May 11, from 6 to 8 PM.
Mr. McGilvray passed away on Tuesday, May 8, at his residence.
A native of Longview, he was born March 27, 1952. He was a quality control manager for Cherokee Steel and a member of the Baptist faith.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Nova Irene McGilvray and sister in law, Angie McGilvray. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Shane McGilvray of Longview, girl friend, Ludie Karen Cook of Longview, brothers, Mitchell McGilvray of Longview and Jimmy McGilvray of Jefferson, grandson, Gage McGilvray of Longview, special friends, Bob and Lilly Green of Liberty City , a number of nieces and nephews and his extended family at Cherokee Steel.
