Robert Anderson Davidson Sr.'s Obituary
Graveside services for Robert Anderson Davidson Sr. age 77 of Tatum will be held Tuesday November 18 , 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Stewart Cemetery with Rev. Gary May officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson. Mr. Davidson passed away on Friday November 14, 2014.
Robert was born September 25, 1937 in Detroit, Texas to Clyde and Virginia Davidson. He grew up in Hall County Texas and graduated in Lakeview, Texas he was a long time resident of Tatum. Robert was a builder and owned Davidson Hardware store in Tatum. He enjoyed farming and ranching, rebuilding antique clocks, traveling, and camping with friends and family. He was a member of the Lakeport Trinity Baptist Church.
Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 50 years Tiajuana Davidson and great granddaughter Rylie Davidson. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Elizabeth Hoover Davidson, sons and daughters-in-law Robert Jr. and Stacy Davidson and their children Eric Davidson, Sergeant Justin and Verna Davidson and son Robert Thomas Davidson, Heather and Dustin Faw and their children Paislie Davidson and Layla Davidson; son, Edwin and Lisa Davidson and their children James Davidson and John Davidson; son, David and Renea Davidson and their children Rachel Davidson and Ruth Davidson; daughter and son-in-law Wanda and Robert Garrett; brother and sister-in-law Jerry Don and Juanita Davidson; and sister and brother-in-laws, Nancy and Jimmy Ivy and Evelyn and Jerry Lloyd.
Pallbearers will be Eric Davidson, Justin Davidson, James Davidson, John Davidson, Dustin Faw, and Wayne Whitlow.
Visitation will be Monday night at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
