Robert D. Moss' Obituary
Graveside services with full military honors for Robert D. Moss, 84, of Longview, will be held 12:30 PM Friday, August 1, 2003 in the VA Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX with Reverend Chris Mayfield officiating.
Mr. Moss was born October 31, 1918 in Aiken, Illinois to Ervin and
Nettie Moss.
Mr. Moss had lived in Longview since 1997 coming from Maplewood,
Missouri. He served his country during World War II and Korea in the US Army. He worked as a painter for General Motors Corporation and was a member of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and James Sutton of Longview; grandchildren, Larry and Dawn Sutton of Longview, Andy and Beth Sutton of Houston, Keith and Robin Hardwicke of Houston; great, great grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Lake and Shelby Sutton and Laura
Hardwicke; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Helen Moss of St. Louis, Donald and Mary Moss of Duluth, MN; sisters-in-law, Alice Wells of St. Louis, Katherine Owens of St. Louis and Mary Gurash of Washington; brother-in-law, William and Carlene Owens of St. Louis.
The family asks that those desiring to do so may make memorial donations to Hospice of Longview, Alzheimer?s Association, or First Lutheran Church of Longview.
