Where to Begin! Like my Sister I also have fond memories of Bob... some that will be with me forever. My bro worked for Bob back when he owned Mr. Gatti's Pizza then a few years later Bob&Pat took me and my Sister and wife and some close friends of ours in at Golden Chick! I could write for quite a while about Bob and our friendship without running out of words. Bob and I became aquainted in 1956 at Gallup High School. We became good friends and had many good times together. Bob and I were roommates for a semester at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. I served as a usher at his and Pat's wedding, and he was an usher in our wedding, along with Charla Jo's cousin, F. William "Bill" Ratliff, now also deceased. Our hearts go out to you all, and like you, I will grieve for the rest of my life.

I'm so glad I got to see all of you last January and spend some time with Bob. What a great guy, a successful guy, a great family. Just knowing how secure he was in his future journey makes all of this less painful, but in the end I know you'll still miss him everyday.Thank God for his faith and we can thank Bob for all he's done for us. Dear Pat & Family. We were so sorry to learn of Bob's passing and were hoping you two would be able to attend our GHS 50th reunion. I only knew him in his years in Gallup and he and his parents were so industrious in establishing their business - As a Navajo Indian, I alwasy felt that our tribal members, some of whom worked for Bob's parents, were treated fairly -- something that wasn't always the case in the l950's. Though I knew Bob only when we were all young I recall he was a wonderful person with many unique qualities: he had a -- great sense of humor, marvelous laugh, a love of life and was quite intelligent. He was the President of our Student Council as he was a natural and respected leader. Pat, I know you and your family were much loved by him and vice versa.
