Robert C. Werner's Obituary
Services for Robert C. Werner, 91, of Longview will be at the Macedonia Baptist Church Thursday January 6, 2011 at 2pm with a visitation at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Wednesday, January 5 from 6 to 8pm. Robert Werner passed away Sunday evening January 2, 2011 at a local hospice facility. Robert was bon April 10, 1919 in Mohton, Pennsylvania to Winfield S.F. Werner and Laura Epler. He served in the US Army during WWII playing The United States Army Band after his service he worked in repairing band instruments and tuning pianos for over 50 years. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Colleen Werner; his sister, Margie Gehmen; daughter, Shirley and her husband Norman Kaiser; son, Bob Werner and his wife Betsy; daughter, Mary Jane and her husband Ed Davis; daughter, Dorcas and her husband Harvey Maglott; son, Bill Werner, son, Roy Werner and his wife Jean; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
