Robert Charles Bornmann's Obituary
Robert Charles Bornmann, 61, of White Oak, passed from this life on November 25, 2019 at his home in White Oak. He was born on November 27, 1957 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Romana and William Madding, Jr. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 2 PM at Rosewood Park with Pastor John Howze officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Robert owned Bornmann’s Insulation and worked for many years doing construction and insulation. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He loved dancing and was a Dance Instructor at the Reo. Rumor has it that he wrote the song “Eleven Roses” and sold it to Hank Williams, Jr. one night over a cold beer and contract written on a napkin. Mr. Bornmann loved women, cold beer, and he was always the life of the party. He always enjoyed visiting with his friends over a cold Michelob Ultra and will always be remembered for offering “just one more beer”.
He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Madding, Jr.; his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Romana Joyce Pugh; his son, Trevor Bornmann and his grandson, Kaleb Bornmann; his brothers Marshall Houghton and his wife Gloria, and Perry Madding; his sister Bobbie Jackson; and his uncle, Ueal Eugene Bornmann.
