Robert was a computer science student of mine about 8 years ago, and I really enjoyed having him in my classes. Intelligent, creative, questioning - he added much to the environment of the classroom.
He has been on several of my email lists for the past few years. He was always quick to make comments and observations on the human condition. He will be missed.

I worked one summer with Robert when he was working at the old Gibson's Discount Center back in 1977. I always liked him and then run across him by chance several years later and we exhachanged war stories from that job. Robert was a very intelligent person and a good friend.
