Robert Marcus Allen III's Obituary
Robert Marcus Allen III entered eternal into rest on February 21, 2020 at his residence in Henderson, Texas. He was born October 20, 1970 in Rusk County. Robert attended school in Henderson and went on to become a Master Electrician after many years of hard work and dedication.
Robert was a hardworking, kind spirited man who took great pleasure in making people laugh. He had a special ability to take the most difficult or uncomfortable situations and somehow put a humorous spin on them. He delighted in telling jokes and funny stories to all. He was also known to play practical jokes on those he loved and worked with. Robert was the kind of man who would not only give you the shirt off of his back but would also give you the food off of his plate. Robert had a passion for cooking and grilling. He would often make new recipes and was eager to share them with friends and family. Robert had a special talent in knife making and enjoyed being outdoors. Some of Robert’s greatest joys in life were being married to his wife, Eva, being able to spend time with his children, and being PawPaw and PaPa to his beautiful grandchildren. Robert never said “goodbye” without telling you he loved you… and he meant it!
Robert was preceded in death by his birth father, Robert Marcus Allen, Jr. his mother, Martha Clark Allen Zabrosky, and his grandparents; Robert Marcus Allen, Sr. and Carrol Allen, Marvin and Mary Ruth Clark, and T.A. and Cecelia Zabrosky. And his nephew, Joey Zamora.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Eva (Tidwell) Allen, his 5 children: Chaz Allen and Diana, Cody Rockey and Nakita, Taylor Allen, Bethany Copeland and Brent, and Kaleb Copeland and Nicole. 8 Beautiful grandchildren, his father Charles Zabrosky, his sisters; Angie Allen Smith and Toni Zabrosky Dorsey and mother and father – in – law, Mack and Joyce Tidwell. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Traci Tidwell, Tad and Kristie Tidwell, and Jan and Larry Gibbs and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and his special family at Woodbine Electric.
Funeral services for Robert will be held Wednesday, February 26 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery in Henderson. A visitation will be held the night before between 5 and 7 pm at the funeral home.
