River Clair Humphrey's Obituary
Our precious little angel, River Clair Humphrey, beloved daughter of, Michael and Darla Humphrey went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. River laughed and smiled throughout her four years, bringing joy and happiness to everyone she touched. In addition to her parents, she has survived by older brothers, Jacobie and Gavin Humphrey, maternal grandmother Lanae Traywick, River’s “NaeNie,” paternal grandparents Les and Robbye Humphrey, great grandmothers Lana Millwood and Patsy Humphrey, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will keep her in their hearts forever. She is preceded in death by her great grandfather and great grandmother, George and Prestine Rutledge, great grandfather Carrol Wayne Humphrey, all of whom will be seeing her for the first time in heaven. She is also preceded in death by her great grandfather John Millwood, whom she called “DaeDae,” who will be happy to hold her in his arms again. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and specialists of Medical City, Scottish Rite and Childrens Hospital, the therapists of Kidz First Therapy, Longview Therapy Center and Windridge Therapeutic Equestrian, Dr. Mann and a special thank you to everyone at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center for their life saving effort. Visitation will he held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Monday, July 8th from 5pm-7pm. The funeral will be held the following morning, Tuesday, at 10am at Calvary Baptist Church in Longview. A graveside service will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. The family appreciates all the prayers and concerns extended to them during this time. River was an amazing gift, with a beautiful spirit, who will be missed dearly by everyone who had the honor of loving her.
