Rita Simpson's Obituary
Funeral services for Rita Gregory Simpson, 90, of Longview will be at 12 Noon, Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Voss officiating. Interment will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Simpson was born October 7, 1914 in Richland, Texas to John Angus and Mary Gertrude Rogers Gregory and died Monday, February 21, 2005 at a local nursing home. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Central Baptist Church. She and her husband, Hubert ?Lefty? Simpson, who preceded her in death owned and operated the Simpson?s Cleaners.
Survivors include her daughter, Joy Rowland and husband, Edwin of Longview; grandson, Steve Kennedy and wife, Alett; granddaughter, Stephanie Kennedy; granddaughter, Sharon Smith and husband, Troy; grandson, Sam Kennedy and wife, Tish; granddaughter, Susan Rosonke and husband, Doug; 10 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 from
6 until 7 PM.
