Rita Nell Porter's Obituary
Rita Nell Porter was born in Longview March 19, 1941 to Mary “Kate” Smith and M.L. Smith. She was carried home June 18, 2014 at the age of 73. Rita was preceded in Death by her parents, two brothers, Edgar and Leon Smith as well as G.L. Porter
Faith and family were the most important things to Ms. Porter. She was a faithful servant of Hope Community Church for many years. Her family says she loved to talk and was a good listener. Rita left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her hobby was working in her garden since she loved flowers. Family and friends will always remember her spunk and fighting spirit.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Robbie Ogle and husband Mike, Mitchel Porter, Donny Porter and partner Robbie Neal, Marjorie Fenton and husband Tracy. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael Ogle, Justin Ogle and wife Brooke, Shanda Whatley and husband James, Cory Porter and wife Chastity, Joshua Porter, Casey Porter and wife Angel, James Porter and fiancée Melissa, Chad and wife Melissa, Coty and Jessica Jenkins, Chad Fenton and wife Micah and Joseph Fenton; as well as great grandchildren Grayson, Savanna, Makayla, Samantha, Ashlynn, Brandon, Cameron, Cora, Caydi, Rayden, Pollux, Tristen, Hailey, Dakota, Benjamin, Christopher and Kayne
