Ricky Lynn Raborn's Obituary
Ricky Lynn Raborn, 62, of Longview, TX passed away suddenly at his home on January 8, 2018.Ricky was born on August 18th, 1955 in Magnolia, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Raborn, and his parents, Madison and Louise Raborn. Ricky was a 1973 graduate of White Oak High School. He worked as a welder for Trinity Industries until his retirement. He was a skilled craftsman and served on mission trips where he helped build churches. Ricky will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and papa. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, and he always made sure everyone knew they were loved.
Ricky is survived by his daughter, Rachel Hardin, son-in-law, David Hardin, and grandson, Jace Hardin; a sister, Pamela Cranford, and her husband, Michael Cranford; a brother, Russell Raborn, and his wife Scarlet Raborn; a sister-in-law, Sharon Blair; a brother-in-law, Kirk Fuoss, and his partner Randall Hill; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Services will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will take place Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. The memorial service will occur at 10 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018.
