Ricky Lynn Leath's Obituary
Services for Ricky Lynn Leath 51, of Yukon, Oklahoma, will be at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2401 Alpine, Longview, TX 75601 on Saturday January 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Steve Turner officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service. Ricky passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at his residence.
A lifetime resident of Longview, Ricky was born March 3, 1962, to Robert and
Mary Jo Leath. He graduated from Pine Tree ISD in 1980, and from Texas A&M
University in 1984 .
Ricky worked for many years in Houston and Florida. He returned to Longview and worked for Turner Bros. Crane and Rigging until he married Carrie Newman
and relocated to Yukon, OK.
Ricky is survived by his wife Carrie, daughter Carlie, son Christopher, and granddaughter Camdyn; his parents; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Christy Leath, nephews Alex and Garrett Leath, and niece Mary Leath, of Houston; beloved aunt Madelyn Leath; uncle and aunt Larry and Remona Baxley, Florida and numerous cousins.
Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Oscar and Clella Leath and maternal grandparents Bud and Wilma Baxley;
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the
First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
