Rickie Wallace's Obituary
Rickie Wallace was born on September 10, 1955 in Palestine, TX to her parents Clayton Miles Parker and Gertrude Marie McCarter Parker. Mrs. Wallace passed away on March 26 in Longview. She is formerly from Elkhart, TX and attended school there.
Rickie was proceeded in death by her daughter Anna Wallace, parents Clayton and Gertrude Parker, sister Helen Thomas, and brother Johnny Parker.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert Wallace, daughter Jennifer Cross, grandson Darron Cross, brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Elaine Parker of Elkhart, brother and sister-in-law Roger and Rita Parker of Elkhart, sister and brother-in-law Carol and Bob Henderson of Belton, and twin sister Vickie Parker of Longview. Rickie is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Rickie married her soulmate and love of her life Robert Wallace on June 9, 2001. While her daughters attended school Rickie was involved with the PTA, Band Boosters and helped coach various softball teams. She was President of Richard A. Halloway American Legion Unit #131, was an active volunteer for VFW Post #4002 in Longview, and with Run for the Wall. Rickie was a very outgoing and adventurous person who loved to travel, she gave the best hugs, and she loved with everything she had.
A memorial service for Rickie will be held at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Tuesday, March 31, at 10 am.
