Richard P. Rodgers' Obituary
Richard Proctor Rodgers passed into his Heavenly Home, Sunday March the 5th.
Richard was born November 18, 1925 in Baltimore, MD. After having served the U.S. Air Force, 1945-1948, he worked in the farm and ranch business. A call from Texas brought his family to Longview and Locmere Angus Farms. After the ranch sold, he continued his career with R. Lacy Inc. He was a long time member of Mobberly Baptist Chuch.
Preceded in death by his wife, Melvene Ford, he is survived by his daughter Cheryl Fite; son, Brian Rodgers; grandchildren, Craig Parker, Mandy Smith, Courtney Rodgers, and Chase Rodgers; six great-grandchildren, Colby, Kyndel, Jake, Brook, Dylan and Elise.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
