Richard Larry Smith's Obituary
Funeral services for Richard Larry Smith, 53, of Longview, will be 10AM Wednesday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Dewayne Beaty officiating. Interment will be in Morse Cemetery in Buna, Texas with services at 3 PM at the 1st Baptist Church of Buna.
Mr. Smith died Monday morning in a Longview Hospital.
A native of Port Arthur, Texas, he was born March 14, 1949 and had lived in Longview for the past 5 years. Mr. Smith was a retired service representative for Marathon LeTourneau and was formerly an aircraft mechanic with Era Aviation and Rowan Drilling of Lake Charles and Alaska. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Longview.
Survivors include his wife: Marsha Smith of Longview; Sons: Richard Nathaniel Smith and Daniel Oscar Jeremy Smith of Buna, TX; Stepchildren; Dallas Fawn, Candace Dawn Ramirez of Fresno, Calif and Doc Martin of Hollywood, Calif; Grandchild: Morgan Kade of Buna; Step Grandchild: Candace Brea Mendoza of Calif.; Mother: Nola Smith of Buna, Texas and Brother: Fred Smith of Buna, Texas.
