Richard K. Frick
Funeral services for Richard K. Frick, 65, of Longview, will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Tom Roberson and Reverend Jim Poe officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park?s Garden of Roses.
Mr. Frick was born on December 1, 1938 in Paris, Texas to Fred and Opal Frick. He passed away on December 20, 2003 in a Longview hospital. He was a supervisor for the Federal Credit Union Bureau before retiring in 1994, was currently serving as the director of McMurray Credit Union in Tyler, and was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church where he was a deacon and enjoyed playing the trumpet in the orchestra.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Frick was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife of many years, Alice Frick on Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Cornelieus Lewis of Oregon; son, Kent Frick of Houston; grandchildren, Matthew Frick, Laura Frick, Coreleon Lewis, and Kiante? Frick; brothers, David Frick of Troup and Fred Frick of Memphis, TN.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, December 22, 2003 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mr. Frick to: Oakland Heights Baptist Church College Scholarship Fund, 1600 Judson Road, Longview, Texas 75601.
Pallbearers will be the Oakland Heights Deacons and men from Mr. Frick?s Sunday School Class.
