I will forever remember the great times we had together when you lived in Dallas. The day we met, December 3, 1977, seems like a short time ago.
I was reminded of your big boyish looks when I was looking at the pictures you took in Lee Park on that snowy day in 1978. You were so cute in your green down filled hunting jacket, doing circles on the ice in your Bronco, we could not stop laughing. Forever in my heart you will remain.

I had only known Richard for seveal years. But I had known him long enough to know that he was a kind and loving person and one who embraced life to the fullest. I had talked to him on Sunday while he was visiting Sandra Cochran. He invited both of us to attend a Super Bowl party with him at his friend's house. He was looking forward to it and to us coming with him. I know he had many friends and everyone that I had ever talked with about Richard had only the highest praises for him as a person and as a loving son. He will be missed by many.

Over the twenty-five years I had known Richard many memories come to mind. His pretty blue eyes, his laugh and his love for his son Kevin. He was a devoted son and brother, although not always expressing these feelings, he loved and cared for his family more than anything.
At a time of loss and sorrow may we find peace in our memories of him, like the times he played the tupperware like drums. He had such fun doing that and entertaining everyone.
