Richard Owen Dean
Memorial services for Richard Owen Dean, 44 of Hallsville will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Mr. Dean died Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 at his home in Hallsville. He was born December 3, 1966 in Rusk, Texas. He has been a resident of Hallsville since 1975. He was a welder for Trinity Industries.
Richard is survived by his wife, Teresa Dean of Hallsville. He is also survived by one son, Jed Dean of Waco; one stepson, Jeff Creel of Longview; one step daughter, Amanda Creel of Hallsville; one grandson, Landen Creel of Hallsville; also by his mother-in-law, Bernice Smith of Longview; one sister, Melba Hunt of Atlanta; one adopted sister, Judy Saure; two adopted brothers, Earl and Roy Strickland; his niece and nephews, Cara, James, Collan, Dyllan, and Taylor Hunt. He is also survived by other numerous family members and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Monica Dean and by his adopted parents, Leroy and Reba Strickland.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23rd, 2011.
