Richard Bales' Obituary
Richard Bales of Longview passed away on Saturday November 19, 2016.
He was born August 19, 1939 in Gladewater, TX, to Bill and Dorothy Reeh Bales and was a Longview High School graduate in 1957.
Richard served four years in the United States Air Force. He and his brothers owned a House Moving Company in Shreveport, LA for twenty six years. Richard moved back to Longview in 2005, and then was employed for Trinity Industries for 10 years before retiring.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his sons Robert Dale Bales of Havelock, NC; Chris and wife Margie Bales of Longview; Sylvia Bales of Longview; grandson Sebastian Bales of Longview; granddaughter Samantha Fourman and husband Allan of Gilmer; grandson Cameron Lindsay of Longview; four great grandchildren; two Brothers, Tom Bales and Gary Bales both of Many, LA.; and a number nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Richard had many friends from past years of bowling and in more recent years, of golfing.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Rader Funeral Home at 1617 Judson Rd., Longview, TX on Tuesday, November 29th from 6-8 p.m.
