Ricardo Gonzalez's Obituary
Ricardo Gonzalez, age 23, of Longview, passed away March 18, 2013 the victim of a tragic automobile accident.
He was a life-long resident of Longview, born October 25, 1989 to Antonio and Dana Gonzalez.
Ricardo graduated from Pine Tree High School. He then attended Kilgore College then furthered his education
By attending UT Tyler where he would have received his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology this coming May.
In 2008, while working at Red Lobster, he met and started dating a co-worker, Laura Kiger. Then in June of 2012
Ricardo and Laura joined their lives together in marriage. Ricardo was an unselfish and kind person
always putting the needs of others first. He was a friend to all.
He enjoyed listening to music of various styles and was an avid sports fan and enjoyed both watching and playing sports.
He recently took on a new hobby of running and enjoyed participating in various community runs.
Ricardo will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know him.
To cherish Ricardo's memories, he leaves behind his loving wife Laura Gonzalez, his parents, Antonio and Dana Gonzalez,
two sisters, Kelly and Amanda Gonzalez, his maternal grandmother, Linda Galicia, maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Wimberly,
his paternal grandparents, Jesus and Nicasia Gonzalez and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
There will be a time of visitation at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Friday, March 22, 2013 from 4 pm-8 pm then funeral services
the next day, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the funeral home starting at 10am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ricardo's honor to MADD, Mothers against Drunk Drivers.
