R.G. Lupe Mancha's Obituary
Services for R.G. 'Lupe' Mancha, 73, of Longview will be Mass 10 AM Friday, April 24, 2009 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Mancha passed away Tuesday evening in a local hospital. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening a 5 PM in the Chapel if Rader Funeral Home with visitation following from 6-8 PM.
Mr. Mancha made Longview his home in 1968, a few years after leaving his home town of Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon Mexico. He was the owner of Lupe's Mexican Restaurants in East Texas that he built over the last 28 years.
Lupe was preceded in death by his daughter Mirna Ramirez.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Flor Estela Mancha, Son Jesus Mancha and daughter-in-law Marisol Mancha, daughters Nelda Mancha, Juana Campos and son-in-law Mauricio Campos, Maria Rivera, Rose McKenrick and son-in-law James McKenrick. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren: Joey & Jaime Ramirez, Cristina, Richard and Carina Campos, Erik and Marissa Rivera, Jessica, David, and Daniel Mancha, and Ariana and Alexa McKenrick.
