Reverend Dick Stagner Funeral services for Reverend Dick Stagner, 56, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Mobberly Baptist Church. A private family burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction Read Obituary
Thinking of Reverend Stagner today. He did a wonderful job leading our youth group at New Beginnings. I know he has been gone for quite sometime, but he is missed and his investment in the youth of White Oak, Longview and Springhill was significant. May God bless the Stagner family.

I am shocked and deeply saddened that Dick has passed away. I am joyous in knowing that he is with his Master. I sang with Dick in the PT highschool choir when I first moved to Longview. He was always an encourager to me as an underclassman, and I know he'll be saving me a spot in the heavenly choir. Dear Stagner Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Bro. Dick.
While growing up at New Beginnings, Bro. Dick was my youth minister.
Dick would often talk to our youth group about our outlook and attitudes. He would say, "Life is all about having an eternal perspective" and he was dedicated to modeling that perspective in words and deeds. Dick was a great mentor to so many as he not only talked the talk, but walked the walk.
To his family, please know that many prayers are going up in your behalf for comfort during this difficult time. God truly is the great comforter.
I am sorry that I could not attend his service as I am sure that it was amazing; as he was such an amazing servant for the Lord.
Dick was a privilege to know and will truly be missed.
