Aunt Polly, Virginia, Cindy, Sylvia, Patricia, and Don,

How sad and surprised we were to hear Uncle Don passed away! We know this is so hard for all of you! But we rejoice that he is now in the presence of his Savior whom he loved so much and served so faithfully! We pray that the Lord's special comfort will be with you in the days and months ahead as you feel the loss of his presence and adjust to his absence. Uncle Don is rejoicing now, and because of that, we can rejoice, too! Perhaps he and Dad are having a "business meeting" for old times sake :-

We grieve with you with your loss. We rejoice with you in the hope or resurrection. We shared the information of Don's homegoing with members of the Polec-eo family. Sorry to hear about Don's death, and even though his time on this earth is finished, he is singing with the angels and the other saints who have gone on ahead. i have harbored sweet memories of you since shortly after you arrived in hte philippines. i remember your ambulance parked in the driveway of the old doane rest. i remember your hospitality in allowing me to live in your home in baguio while i attended brent school. i'veoften remembered the elaborate train setup you hasd in hte abanao garage.
i often wished i had an email address or phone numbetr, so we could keep in touch.
i certainly did not recognize you from the photo, but i also have a beard, fuller but shorter.
i just celebrated my 33rd anniversary of amrriage to a home missionary daughter i met in seminary.
goodbye dear uncle don. you live in a much nicer home, prepared by the same outfit that designed and made the universe. i'm looking forward to joining you in a few.
