Retta Hachtel's Obituary
Services for Retta Hachtel, 73, of Longview will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 with Reverend Ed Blackstone officiating. Burial will be in Harvard, Nebraska at a later date. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Rader Funeral Home. Mrs. Hachtel passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 in Longview.
Mrs. Hachtel was born on April 17, 1937 in Burley, Idaho. She loved her friends and never met a stranger. She loved to cook from scratch and was an incredible seamstress. She was a devoted Christian and a proud member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hachtel is preceded in death by her brother.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Robert Hachtel of Longview; daughter and son-in-law Debra and David Jolly of Longview; son Darren Hachtel of Italy, TX.; grandchildren Zachary Myers and Dawson Hachtel; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church food pantry fund, 3470 Gilmer Road, Longview, Texas 75604.
