Funeral services for Reginald L. McKinnon , 71, of Longview will be held at Twelve O'clock Noon on Monday February 1, 2010 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Earl W. "Buddy" Duggins officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. McKinnon passed away Friday January 29, 2010 in Longview.
He was born February 25, 1938 in Longview, Texas to Reginald and Velma Aldridge McKinnon . He was a graduate of Texas Christian University. A Veteran of the United States Navy. Retired from the United States Health Department, after retirement Reggie was employed by Cobb Electric in Longview.
Survivors include his daughter, Liesel Nobles and husband James, son, Ben McKinnon and wife Kristie, grandchildren Zachery, Emily and Claire Nobles and Brooke McKinnon all of Austin, brother Dale McKinnon and Wife Linda of Kilgore, and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Velma McKinnon, sister, Laverne Childers and brother James Ray McKinnon.
Redge was loved and will be missed by all of the other residents at Hillside Village Apartments.
