Rebecca (Becky) Horn's Obituary
Memorial service for Rebecca (Becky) Horn will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pete Thompson officiating.
Becky passed on to be with the Lord Friday, June 13, 2014, after a lengthy illness. She was 73-years-old. She was a lifelong resident of New London and a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Church and her faith never wavered. She retired from the Department of Public Safety after 29 years of faithful service.
She has a truly beautiful spirit and had a way about her that touched all she came in contact with. Bee Bee, a name given to her by her nephew and carried on by her grandson, moved quietly through this life but her legacy will be long remembered.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Pat Horn of New London; daughter, Jimmie Billings of Rockport; grandson, Hunter Randall of New Diana; sister, JoAnne Jones of New London; and nephew, Jim Jones and his wife Alicia of Gilbert, Ariz.; and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the youth fund at Pleasant Hill Church.
As Bee Bee would say, “Don’t mourn for me because I’m happy I passed with a smile on my face”.
