Reba Lee Morton's Obituary
Funeral services for Reba Lee Morton, 74, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2009, at the Rader Funeral Chapel in Henderson with Rev. Roy Thoene officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Bascom Cemetery near Tyler.
Mrs. Morton died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in EMTC Henderson.
She was born January 31, 1935 in Mabank, Texas to Jessie and Marie Hutchison. She was a graduate of Mabank High School and Baylor Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for Dr. Hamilton in Mabank and Tyler area hospitals and nursing facilities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carrel Bull Morton, and one brother.
Surviving is a daughter, Carin Cummings and husband Lane of Henderson; sons, John Morton and wife Bea of Tyler, and Will Morton and wife Lori of Davenport, Fla.; sisters, Martha LaRue and husband Mike of Mabank and Pat Cope of Springdale, Ark., brother, Mike Hutchison and wife Janice of Mabank; two grandchildren, Zac Victory of Kilgore and Cali Cummings of Henderson; four step grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Hambrick, Randy Hambrick, Clarence Allen Hambrick, and A.J. McBride, Kevin LaRue and Chris LaRue.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time Friday.
