RAYMOND LOUIS JAMES
A celebration of the life of Raymond Louis James will be held 4 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church, 5041 Estes Parkway in Lakeport with Brother Gary May and Kenneth Wilkerson officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home. The family will begin greeting friends starting at 2:30 before the service. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Raymond was born in Hope, Arkansas to Jack and Lois James. He left this earth on May 19, 2016 in Longview. He owned James Furniture and he and his wife, Carolyn owned Kandyland Kampus preschool for 25 years when he retired.
Raymond was a devoted member of Trinity Baptist Church and loved his Lord.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn who he cherished with all his heart; sons, Randy James and wife, Beth and Rick James and wife, Amanda; 7 grandchildren which held a special place in his heart. Tim James, Alec James, Bret James, Mollee James, Emily James, Braden James and Jack James.
He is also survived by his sisters, Jo Ann Clinkscales, Jennie James, Mary Bradford; and brothers, Jack James and Jimmy James and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David James.
Pallbearers will be Tim James, Alec James, Braden James, Skip Honeycutt, Kenneth Wilkerson and Earl Brown.
