Lord, I’m praying for Raymond’s family during their time of need. I’m so thankful to have gotten a chance to meet you and your testimony that God has brought you through. You have been an inspirational loving and dear friend. Thank you for pushing me to be better and have faith in all I do. You have a loving and sincere heart and the joy and glory of God shines through you. I’m going to miss you, and I will never forget you. The impressions will lay in my heart forever.
I’m sorry to hear of Raymond’s passing. I got to know Raymond over the last few years, and I am lucky enough to own one of his art creations. The world lost a great artist. May he Rest In Peace and walk the streets of gold with our Savior.

My dear cousin. I know you are in a better place now with others that we were close to. I believe you are looking down upon us on this somber day. I have some fond memories of you and a few goofy times many years ago. I will hold those close to me until one day I can shake your hand again.

I first encountered Ray, when in 1991, I went to work for one of the beauty supply houses here in Longview. I can still see him in that old building on Gilmer Rd. filling those orders. Over the years, our paths have crossed many times in out of the way places. One day, I stopped for gas at the Chevron at I-20 and Hwy. 19 in Canton, and who was there, but Ray, on his way to Dallas to pick up some of his supplies that he turned into treasures for other people. There was always a special connection, and we always had something to talk about, no matter where we encountered each other. And, we laughed. I will miss you, my sweet friend, and to my friend, Nancy, may God comfort your heart, and cover you with His love as you walk through this valley.
Greatly saddened to hear of dear Raymond’s passing.
He inspired so many, probably more than he realised.
He will be remembered fondly. Kindest thoughts to all his family & friend.
I have known Raymond since 1980 he was very witty and funny and full of life. I am so saddened to learn of his passing I was praying he would beat this terrible thing we call Cancer. Sending love and prayers to his family RIP my friend will miss your smile and sense of humor till we meet again
We've known Raymond and his dear mom about 30 yrs. Wayne and I got close to Raymond and he's enjoying healing with his son and brother now
