My name is Paul Gu. I have known Tommy and his wife Susan since I moved to the States from Asia in 2015. Tommy and Susan were the sweetest people I have met. I felt so sad Susan passed away in March 2017, knowing it would be very hard for Tommy since he loved her so much. Tommy fought a good fight in his earthly life, and it is encouraging to know he is completely healed and now being with the Lord and his beloved wife Susan.
I have known Tommy, his parents and his grandparents all my life and they were all fine people. Tommy was the most genuine human being and a kind and loving friend to most everybody. He and his family, including his sweet wife, Susan, will not be forgotten by those of us of Old Jefferson. God bless his son and family at this time.
My name is Joe Coppinger. I was Pastor to Senior Adults at Fellowship Bible Church. Tommy and Susan chose our church and our Encore ministry when they moved to Longview. They were a delight to us and we were always glad to see them walk in. I tried to stay close during Susan's long illness and ministered to Tommy regularly when he lost Susan. He was one of the most thoughtful men I have known. Bless you David in your loss. Joe
David, we loved your mom and dad. We always enjoyed eating with them at Copeland’s in Longview. We appreciated their participation in our Senior Adults Bible study, as they both had deep insights into the lessons. Tommy was always positive about his circumstances. He was ready with a quick smile and a witty comment. He was so proud of their son David, and their daughter-in-law Rebekah, and especially the twins. After Susan passed and Tommy moved to Texarkana, he enjoyed talking to Ralph on the phone about many different topics especially the market. Tommy was a thoughtful and caring man. We will miss you, Tommy. I picture you and Susan united once again free from earthly sickness.
