Graveside services for Raymond Earl Jorgenson, 75, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 at Summerfield Cemetery with the Reverend David Reeder officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away, Monday, October 22, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jorgenson was born May 7, 1937 in Longview to Jake and Lurlie Jorgenson. He was a cement finisher for Hudson Engineering. Mr. Jorgenson was a graduate of Judson Grove High School and a member of Summerfield United Methodist Church. He was a member of and past Grand Noble Grand of the Odd Fellows Lodge and a member of the Knights of Pythias.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Georgia Jorgenson of Longview; children, Kathy Lynn Tuttle and husband Mark of Houston and Raymond James Jorgenson and fiancé, Teresa Kaye Frazier of Hallsville; grandchildren, Evan James Tuttle and Cody James Jorgenson; and a special extended family member, Nicole Ann Collins.
