Ray Collier was one of the most engaging teachers I ever had. Teaching Statistics is not easy but "Ray" made each lecture interesting and I dare say exciting. He had a terrific sense of humor and the absurd and made going to class a joy. I'll miss him. Bob Baron, Ph.D. Minnesota 1970/
He was an amazing father in law. He took great pride in his son John, who preceded him in death in May of 2000 and to Cathy Sue. I miss him and mom very much.
It was my honor to spend the last 2 1/2 years with this witty and humorous man.

I have told so many people about Ray. He knew how to make everyone feel like the most important person while talking with him. He had a great sense of humor and love of life. I only knew him for a short time of his 92 years but loved visiting him and Gerry. He will be missed greatly. I have told friend who never ment him, I wish everyone knew him. He was that special.
Our hearts go out to the whole family. We know there is a big whole in your life. We pray that your memories help carry you thru this hard time.
