Services for Ray Everette Williams will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Judson Road in Longview. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, the service will follow at 11:00am. Ray Everette Williams Read Obituary
The Rev we called him. Unmeasurable respect, love, and admiration for him . He married us , baptized us and was a great man!. Although we are saddened today , It’s comforting to know that everything he worked for and believed in his life , he will be able to see and enjoy. We miss you already on your trip home .

There has not been a time in my life that I did not know Brother Ray. From his being Pastor of the church I was born into, to sharing time with his family and ours. His son being one of my earliest and longest lasting friends, time at church camp and most recently being a hunting friend for the past several years on our lease. Tons of great memories are intertwined with him. I have family that is not blood. But that’s not the case with Brother Ray. We are and forever will be family by the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. Rest In Peace Brother. May God comfort and protect your family. We will meet again someday. Love ya Brother.

Bro. Ray was a great soldier of the cross, a dedicated pastor, a good preacher, a faithful friend, and a soul-winner, just to name a few things! We need more men like him! He was a tireless worker as a trustee. He was very helpful in giving the trustees information we needed. His service will be remembered.

I witness,this family go thur unbearable lost.Bro William stood stedfast in his faith thur, the lost of his preious children , remained strong for his family and church . God recieved a devoted angel. My prayers ,that his family has peace ,that his suffering has ended ,and with our lord.
Bro. Ray Williams was a dear friend to me. Over the years we traveled to several American Baptist Association Messenger Meetings together. He loved to stop at Cracker Barrel restaurants along the way. I accompanied him on a trip to the Navajo Nation Fair in Window Rock, Arizona to hand out Bibles and tracts. While I was there God burdened my heart to move to the Navajo Nation and plant a Church. So Bro. Ray is partly responsible for the work at Two Grey Hills, NM. He loved the Lord and he loved Mission work. I lovingly called him an “Old Grouch”, and he’d laugh. He was steadfast and faithful when others would have given up. I will miss him, but I’ll see him again in heaven.
