Ray Phillips' Obituary
Funeral services for Ray Phillips, 69, of Ore City, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 26 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, November 25 at Rader Funeral Home.
Ray was born in Mt. Pleasant, TX on January 27, 1938 to John Wallace and Ruby Ray Phillips. He married the love of his life, Carla Guynn, on June 6, 1959.
Ray owned and operated ICR Electric in Kilgore for many years before relocating to the Longview area, where he owned Phillips Electric.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Carla, four daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Curtis Jennings of Red Oak; Dawn and Jason Gilmore and Kelly and Robert Watson, all of Ore City; Kerri and Sean Moulton, of Mt. Pleasant; a son and daughter-in-law, Torrey and Jennifer Waldon, of Ore City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Tina Phillips, of Mt. Pleasant and Donald and Nancy Phillips, of Daingerfield; his mother-in-law, Sibyl Guynn, of Jefferson; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
