Randy Greer's Obituary
Randy Dale Greer, 65, of Hallsville, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2023. Randy was born on December 29, 1957, in Marshall, Texas, to Rudolph and Arlene Greer. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Holly Greer, and their children Brandon Greer, Melissa Greer, and Ronnie Waid. Randy is also survived by his brothers Richard Greer (Debbie) and Douglas Greer (Judy). He was a cherished grandfather to Stormy (Tyler), Damion (Cierra), Dyess, Savannah, Isaac, Aubrey, Kennedy, Brayden, Daynon, Brooke, and great-grandfather to Karter and Karson, and his brother-in-law’s Rodney Myers and Hunter Myers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Arlene Greer, as well as his mother and father-in-Love Ronnie and Juanda Myers.
Known for his infectious smile and love for the Lord and others, Randy was a joy to be around. He had a way of making everyone feel loved and cherished. Randy's passion for his family was unmatched, and he adored his wife Holly above all else.
Randy spent his entire career at Texas Eastman Chemical, dedicating 38 years of his life to the company and then retired to be a full-time papaw. He was a diligent and hardworking individual, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and dedication.
In his free time, Randy enjoyed family nights, spending time with his grandchildren, solving puzzles, and playing games. He also loved camping, playing pool, western movies, and fishing. Randy took pleasure in his brand-new shop, tractor, and cherished his time at the lake. Randy was Scottish right Past Master at James F Taylor Lodge 169
The visitation for Randy will take place on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 6pm-8pm at Radar Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10am at Mason Creek Baptist Church.
Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will forever be cherished. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
