Memorial services for Randal ?Randy? Childers, 65, of Diana will be held at the First Baptist Church on Judson Road at 10 am Saturday, September 25, 2010. Mr. Childers passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 in Longview.
Randy was born in Hamilton, Alabama on September 17, 1945 to Henry and Hettie Childers. He was an oil consultant and traveled the world consulting for numerous companies. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Wilma Monez Starns, John Alfred Childers, Jimmy Delford Childers, Rayburn Morris Childers, Brice Arthur Childers, Ronald Childers and Henry Alton Childers.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette Childers; daughter and son-in-law Patty Lynn and Ken Smith; grandchildren Brittany N. and husband Troy Pulce, Brandon C. Howe, Courtney G. Howe; siblings Vernice Elizabeth Baggett, Eunice Louise McCoy, Junior Curtis Childers, Iris Ava Dean Eaton and Freeman Jay Childers.
