Ranae Tennimon's Obituary
Ruth Ranae Tennimon was born on March 22, 1964, in Longview, TX to Lester and Ora Mae Nugent. She passed away on September 3, 2023, in Longview, TX. Ranae was known to many as “Sissy” and she will be forever loved and missed by all that knew her.
Ranae worked for Stephen and Marcia McDaniel for 35 years at US Title as an escrow officer and bookkeeper and continued there 5 more years. She married the love of her life, Tim Tennimon, on April 5, 1997. They built a wonderful life together and enjoyed being together with their beloved dog Chloe.
Ranae is survived by her husband of 26 years, Tim Tennimon of Longview; her brother Curtis Nugent of Asheville, NC and sister-in-law Tine; nephew Arlo Nugent of Nashville, TN and wife Kim and their daughter Lexi; nephew Niels Nugent, currently residing in Korea; mother-in-law Marie Taylor and husband Bob Taylor; brother-and-sister-in-law Tom and Traci Tennimon of Diana; brother-and-sister-in-law Todd and Robin Tennimon of Diana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
Ranae is preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law Norm Tennimon.
Ranae will be remembered by her love for her husband, their dog Chloe, and her family and friends. She loved to travel and go shopping. She will be remembered for her tender heart, her warm smile and laughter, her kindness, and her giving spirit.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 6-8pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. A service to honor her life will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 2pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Longview.
