Ramona Chaves Brown's Obituary
Services for Ramona Chaves Brown, 81, of Longview will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at noon. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Brown passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
She was born in Shreveport, LA on August 31, 1937. In her youth she was an expert seamstress, an avid reader, loved ceramics and was a licensed cosmetologist. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Susie Chaves; sisters Rose Falconer, Maryanne Torres; husbands Quilla Ward Blalock and William Tomas Brown. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charles and Susie Blalock of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law Alisa and Keith Allen of Pittsburg; sons David Wayne Brown, William Paul, Bobby Ray, Rick Brown of Longview; sisters and brother-in-law Lynn and Harvey Vaughn of Longview, Patty Lee of New Orleans, Suzanne Fopay of Longview; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
