Ralph W. Bruner
Funeral services for Ralph W. Bruner, 70, of Hallsville will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2006, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview with the Reverend Tommy Brasher officiating. Interment will be in the Hallsville Cemetery. Mr. Bruner passed away Sunday, January 1, 2006 in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bruner was born November 3, 1935 in Weber City, West Virginia to Freddie and Annie Bruner. He was a longtime resident of Hallsville. He served in the U. S. Air Force in Korea for 3 years. Mr. Bruner retired from Eastman Kodak after 40 years service. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church.
Mr. Bruner was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen; daughter, Lana Powers; and brother, Fred H. Bruner.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Catherine Bruner; daughter, Tammy Benson; and son, Brian Bruner all of Hallsville; twin sister, Ruby Usery of Longview; grandchildren, Chad Powers, Jessica Powers, Tesla Bruner, and Jordan Bruner; and several nieces, nephews, cousins from Kingsport, TN, and friends.
