Ralph Lanham's Obituary
Graveside services for Ralph C. Lanham, 85, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Rosewood Park in the Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Keith Rothra officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Lanham passed away Wednesday morning surrounded by his family at his home. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Ralph was born on January 29, 1929 in Troup, Texas to Jim and Beatrice Lanham. He proudly served his country in the US Army during Korea. He was married to the love of his life, Beth Tower Lanham, on September 11, 1953. They would have celebrated their 61st anniversary next week. Mr. Lanham was a member of Judson Community Baptist Church and was retired from Trailmobile where he worked as a machinist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Janice Lanham; his grandson Chad Fields; and his brother, Robert Lanham.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Beth Lanham; his daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Robert Guy; and his sons and daughters-in-law Ronnie and Michelle Lanham, and Larry and Kelli Lanham. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Jan Lanham, and Jimmy and Mary Lanham; grandchildren Craig Guy, Tony Guy, Lisa Comstock, Amy Stonecipher, Jason Lanham, Monica Hanes, Crystal Honzell, Scott Lanham and Kathryn Buller; great grandchildren Clayton Guy Richardson, Alexis Guy, Emily Guy, Drake Guy, Braylin Guy, Shelly Comstock, Dylan Comstock, Dakota Comstock, Devin Comstock, Summer Winders, Oliver Winders, Jorday Guy, Taylor Guy, Bayla Lanham, Penny Stracener, Maverick Allen, Kayla Allen, Corbin Buller, Griffin Buller, and Ayden Lanham.
