Ralph Benavides Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Ralph Benavides, 73, of Henderson passed away January 19, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born July 23, 1950, in Pleasanton, Tx, to the late Ralph and Navidad Benavides. He retired from International Paper Co. after 53 years of employment. He will be remembered for his personality and character. He loved spending quality time with his family. He was proceeded in death by his parents Ralph and Navidad Benavides, and six sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Castilena (Kathy) Benavides of Henderson; children Diana Odum and husband Roderick of Henderson, Ralph Benavides and wife Nelly of Henderson, Jose Benavides and wife Ashley of Henderson; brothers Albert Benavidez and wife Cathy of Longbranch, Tx, Manuel Benavidez of Henderson; nine grandchildren: Anthony Benavides, Matthew Benavides, Carely Olguin, Nicholas Benavides, Anahi Villanueva, Fernando Olguin, Daniel Benavides, Olivia Benavides, Ralph Dakota Benavides; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday, January 25, 2024 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Pastor Louis Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5 – 7 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
