Rachel Nadine Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Nadine Williams will be held at Rader Funeral Home at 12:00 on Saturday, April 5, with Pastor Tom McDaniels of LifeBridge Christian Center officiating, and with interment following at Rosewood Park cemetery. An 11:00 a.m. visitation will be held immediately prior to the funeral. Rachel left this life on April 2 at Good Shepherd Hospital following a sudden illness. Born on Nov. 22, 1922 in Linden, Texas, she had been a resident of Longview since 1952, working here for many years as a legal secretary. A loving wife, mother, and homemaker, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, and by her devoted husband, Edward R. Williams. She is survived by one son, Michael Williams, and daughter-in-law Mary of Longview; by grandson Jason Williams, his wife Tori, and great grandson Gabriel of Nashville, Tennessee; and by granddaughter Shannon Williams of Conroe, Texas. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Benevolence Fund of LifeBridge Christian Center, Box 6211, Longview, TX 75608. Esteemed and loved by many, Mrs. Williams will be sorely missed by those who knew her.
