R. J. " Buddy" Priestly
Graveside services for R. J. "Buddy"Priestly, 87, of Longview will be held at Two O'clock pm Monday November 23, 2009 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Reverend Tim Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Priestly passed away Saturday November 21, 2009 in Longview.
He was born June 18, 1922 in Jacksonville, Texas. He was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church and retired from Texas Eastman after twenty-five years.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Priestly of Longview, sister-in-law, Bonnie Meador of Jacksonville and brother-in-law, Bill Slider of Jacksonville and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday November 22, 2009 from 5-8 pm.
