QT Wright's Obituary
Q.T. Wright went home to be with our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Saturday. February 28, 2009, in Carson City, Nevada. Services will be at 2pm, Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, Longview, Texas with Pastor David English from the First Baptist Church of Longview officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Born June 7, 1920, in Lafayette County, Mississippi, one of seven children, she delighted in the role of homemaker with her loving husband, Basil, by her side. They brought three children into the world. She was a dedicated Sunday school teacher, a vibrant hospital volunteer and a compassionate volunteer with Meals on Wheels. She was always handing out Christian Love and Joy to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 61 years, Basil C. Wright, sons Terry Lee Wright and Larry Dyson Wright, her parents Ellis and Nell Gamble, her brother Bill Gamble, and her sisters Helen Hoback, Janerstine Keller , and Bobbye Leonard.
She is survived by her daughter Coty Ann Wright, daughter-in-law Lynn Wright, grandchildren Matthew Wright and Leah Gregory, and great grandchildren Tyler Wright, Nathan Wright and Dyson Gregory. She is also survived by sisters Margie Barge and Stella Paschal and a sister-in-law Emma Joe Gamble along with numerous nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 12-2pm, Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, Longview Texas.
