A visitation for Preston Green Sr., 43, of Longview will be held on Friday, May 27 from 6-8pm, Rader Funeral Home in Longview. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday from 1-3pm. Preston went to be home with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016.
Preston was born on October 8, 1972 in Longview TX to parents Charles and Elizabeth Green. Following high school, Preston became an entrepreneur and founded a pallet manufacturing company where he worked for many years before becoming the 3rd generation to work in the oil field. Preston also devoted his time as a Volunteer Fire Fighter at Judson Metro Volunteer Fire Department. Despite all that he did, and all that he enjoyed nothing compared to the love that he felt for his family and his friends; Preston would always look forward to when he could get home and watch the most recent NASCAR race with his family or ride 4wheelers with friends.
Preston was preceded in death by his father, Charles Green; grandmother Peggy Scarborugh; and his uncle Gary Green. Those left to cherish their memory of Preston include his wife of 20 years, Renee Green; his son Cole Green; daughters Natalie and Taylor Green; granddaughter Amberlie K. Green; mother Elizabeth Stone of Malta; brother Kyle Green and his great-grandmother, Camela Stone, also of Malta; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
