Polly Langhorne DeMoss' Obituary
Cryptside services for Polly Langhorne DeMoss will be Noon Wednesday at Rosewood Park Mausoleum with Reverends Jerry Turner and Bill Cunningham and officiating. Entombment to follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home Longview.
Mrs. DeMoss was born December 18, 1918 in Timpson, Texas to Danne and James T. Langhorne who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by brothers Tom and Beverly and a sister Virginia.
Mrs. DeMoss graduated from Timpson High School and Stephen F. Austin University. She mar-ried Arthur Curtis DeMoss July 3, 1939 and they have one daughter D?anne McGown of Beaumont.
She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church for 50 years, a member of the Heritage Bible Study Club and a charter member of the Camellia Garden Club. For many years Mrs. DeMoss worked with Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls. She enjoyed art, painting and Sharing with others.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis; a daughter D?anne; son in law, Pat McGown of Beaumont and a grandson Patrick Curtis McGown of Irving, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the First United Methodist Church, 400 N. Fredonia, Longview, TX 75601 or charity of choice.
