Piper Malone's Obituary
Piper Palmer Malone, 60, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024, surrounded by family and friends after a hard-fought battle with ALS. Piper was born on July 26, 1963, to Charles and Penny Palmer in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Longview High School in 1981 and soon went to work at Southwestern Bell as a phone operator. In 1988, she was employed at Eastman Chemical Company and worked in many areas. Piper married the love of her life, Bart Malone on April 18, 1992, and they had two children Chad and Rylee whom she loved with everything she had. She loved to travel, scuba dive, and spend time with her animals of every shape and size. Piper loved volunteering at the kids' school and working on her numerous art projects.
Piper is preceded in death by her brother Chad Palmer, daughter Rylee Malone and daughter-in-law Masheba Johnson. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Bart Malone, son Chad Malone, Step-son Chris Malone (Joyce), step-daughter Paige Palmer (Jacob), grandchildren Averlee, Charlee, Lynnlee, Michael David, Abigail and Oliver, brother-in-law Andy Malone (Leslie) and numerous friends and bonus family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Southwest Transplant Alliance and Prime Care Hospice.
